Standing on a hill. Forest, silence, air you don't know you've forgotten until you breathe it in again. And I think: this isn't just mine. This should be shared.
Bijelo Brdo is no random choice. At 600 metres above sea level, surrounded by more than 40 hectares of untouched forest, this place has something that has become almost unattainable in modern life: real silence and clean air you can feel the moment you step out of the car.
The air at this altitude contains 18% fewer PM2.5 particles than in Bihać, just 15 minutes' drive below. No industrial neighbourhood, no heavy traffic, no planes overhead. Only forest, sky and a silence you can hear.
We are building five A-frame cabins that stand in the forest as if they had always been there. Each has a terrace that opens only onto trees and sky — Una National Park on one side, the town of Bihać on the other. Each has an outdoor jacuzzi, a fire and silence. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is only the beginning. In the coming weeks and months we will share every step of the build, every decision and every story from this hill.
